Ledbury, UK, 12 November, 2024 – The Satcoms Innovation Group (SIG) is now accepting nominations for the 2025 SIG Awards. Celebrating innovation within satcom, SIG welcomes nominations in the following categories: Innovations of the Year, Cooperation of the Year, Educational Project of the Year, Young Engineer of the Year, and Diversity Champion of the Year.
SIG is a membership organisation that seeks to promote innovation whilst improving operational cohesion to maximise industry potential within satcom. It enables discussion between all industry stakeholders whilst examining the challenges and opportunities emerging within satcom’s fast-paced transformation. This year sees the announcement of a new category within the SIG Awards: Diversity Champion of the Year. This award will celebrate an individual, organisation, or scheme that promotes diversity within the satcom industry.

Each category is judged by SIG Directors and members of the Advisory Board. The winners of each category will be announced at a SIG Networking Reception which will take place in Washington D.C. on March 10th ahead of SATELLITE 2025. The deadline for submissions is 31st January 2024. Nominees for the Young Engineer Award must be aged 35 and under.
