Riga, Latvia, 28 January 2026 – Cloud playout solutions provider, Veset has announced that leading Mexican broadcaster, TV Azteca is using Veset Nimbus on AWS as a disaster recovery (DR) playout solution for its adn40 network, ensuring broadcast continuity and operational resilience as part of the broadcaster’s cloud strategy.
TV Azteca is leveraging Veset Nimbus to rapidly deploy and manage a secure, cloud-based backup channel, enabling the broadcaster to rapidly switch to an alternative playout environment in the event of an outage or disruption to its primary broadcast infrastructure. The cloud playout solution was chosen because of its assurance to deliver uninterrupted adn40 content across broadcast and digital platforms, safeguarding service availability for audiences in Mexico and the Latam region.
Nimbus allows TV Azteca to maintain a fully managed, ready-to-air channel in the cloud, without the cost and complexity of maintaining duplicate on-premise systems. The broadcaster benefits from flexible scalability, rapid recovery times and remote access, ensuring critical services can be restored quickly when needed.
As the second largest mass media company in Mexico, TV Azteca operates four television networks in the region – Azteca Trece, Azteca 7, adn40 and a+ – offering a wide range of entertainment programming including series, reality shows, news, documentaries and lifestyle content.
Martins Magone, CTO, Veset, commented: “Broadcasters need resilient, cost-effective disaster recovery solutions that can be activated instantly. By deploying Veset Nimbus on AWS as a DR playout channel, TV Azteca gains the confidence that its adn40 services can remain on air, even in the event of unexpected disruption.”
Veset will be exhibiting at NAB Show from 19th – 22nd April (Booth W2356). Find out more or book a meeting.
